白露至，秋意濃。大家好，我是楚楚。現在，我正在婁底新化的紫鵲界。晨霧中，凝結的露珠順著稻葉滾落，請跟隨我一起，走進這千年梯田，去收清露吧。
無壩自流的灌溉系統、順應山勢的等高線布局……紫鵲界的農耕智慧，既體現在技術上，也融入到民俗文化中。當地老農有句俗語：“七上八下九歸倉”，說的是七月水位控制在上層，八月引至中層，九月灌溉下層。這種隨時間調整水流的節奏，與水稻生長周期完美契合，讓人不禁贊嘆“天人合一”的神奇。
白露暖秋色，莫負好時光。此時，梯田已披上一層秋的“薄紗”。我在紫鵲界捧起一穗稻、一抔土，觸摸著蜿蜒曲折的“大地指紋”，金秋豐饒的氣息迎面撲來。
White Dew arrives, and autumn is in the air. Hello, I’m Chu Chu. Right now, I’m at Ziquejie Terrace in Xinhua, Loudi. In the morning mist, dewdrops form and roll down the rice leaves. Come along with me to collect the fresh dew in these “thousand-year-old terraces.”
With its self-flowing irrigation system—no dams needed—and its contour-based layout that follows the shape of the mountain, Ziquejie showcases agricultural wisdom that’s not just technical but also woven into local culture. There’s an old saying among farmers here:“Seven up, eight down, nine to the granary.”It means in July, water is controlled at the upper level; in August, it’s directed to the middle; and by September, it irrigates the lower tiers. This rhythm of adjusting water flow over time matches perfectly with the growth cycle of rice—it makes you marvel at the wonder of living in harmony with nature.
White Dew gently tints the autumn scenery—don’t let these beautiful days slip away. Right now, the terraces are draped in a light “veil” of autumn. Here at Ziquejie, I cradle a stalk of rice and a handful of soil, feeling the winding “fingerprints of the earth.” The golden abundance of autumn rushes in all around me.
